I've wanted to start a podcast for around two years now but never really felt sure of what topic to base it around. Those plans slipped to the back of my mind until recently when I was listening to a random podcast and decided to send Anjali a message. Before this, we'd occasionally talk to each other over twitter (mainly about books) but it wasn't like we were friends enough that sliding into her DMs shouting 'HEY DO YOU WANNA START A PODCAST' wasn't going to feel a bit weird. This was the end of June, and now I talk to her more than my own boyfriend some days because she said yes!
WELCOME TO RANTS AND REVIEWS!!!!
Welcome to Rants and Reviews, a seasonal podcast in which Sophie and Anjali discuss all things books. There's young adult, there's historical fiction, there's fantasy, there are comic books and graphic novels, there's Greek mythology and, of course, there's a whole lot of Harry Potter.
We can't promise that our words will be coherent as we fangirl over our love of literature, or that our squees and feels will be contained; but what we can promise is good chats, book recommendations, mispronounced character names and a whole lot of fun times.
Check out the teaser below and Subscribe to Rants and Reviews today to never miss an episode!
You'll be able to find us on all major podcast listening platforms, we're currently on ACast but iTunes and Spotify are on the way. However, if you want to listen on another platform that you prefer do let us know in the comments and we'll make sure to get it added it for you!
