The McFilla

[Photo credit to their Facebook page as my phone photos are awful]

The other night my boyfriend dragged me along with him to grab dinner before he went out. We went to this little outdoor burger van down the road from our flat and we'd been dying to try it out as everyone's been saying how great it is. Now as it was around 5pm I wasn't all that hungry so I wasn't planning to eat there just keep him company but ya know with burgers sizzling away in front of you its hard to say no. I went for the classic $5 Ester burger and it was pretty good once I'd removed the jalapenos, reminded me of the homemade burgers my Dad makes when I'm home. If you live in Wellington I highly recommend checking this place out down Cuba St it has such a cool atmosphere and we were chilling on bus seats whilst eating our dinner, pretty awesome!

p.s eek we got the Ed Sheeran tickets I'm so excited!!

Pretty ideas, bits, and bobs

Thursday, 18 September 2014
There's just something so exciting about moving into a new place in that you can pick up all your old stuff and shove it into a new environment and it all looks like 10x more amazing! Of course with the addition of a whole bunch more stuff you bought beforehand cuz it would 'look good in the new house'. Now with the idea of packing boxes being a month away my heads just brimming with ideas about how I (and the boyfriend but mainly I) will make the place look fabby. I've been browsing Tumblr and Pintrest for some basic ideas at the moment and not allowing myself to get too involved in ideas until we've moved in and seen where everything we already have is going to fit. Especially as I'm probably only going to be living there for around 2 weeks before I move back home for the summer until January when the real work kicks in and I'm, as my boyfriend puts it, 'allowed to put all the girly shit everywhere'. Until then the scrolling will continue, mood boards will be created in my head and probably some minor things might be bought oops...

Let's build a fort and live while we're young

Sunday, 12 May 2013

We came back from the comedy show last night to the my flatmates in the midst of creating this amazing fort so of course we had to join in. Adding a few sets of my fairy lights, some blankets and pillows and we were all set for an evening of movies alcohol and fun. Let's just say we ended up playing Disney Channel Scene It (a bargain i found for $6 at The Warehouse) until around half three in the morning. I do feel sorry for our neighbours who had to put up with Louise and my amazing singing skills rapping to the Cheese Jerky rap from Hannah Montanna at around 2am but it was worth it. I think my nerd did start showing once i got competitive and shouting out the answers and getting really into it and I'm not sure my flatmates knew i knew that much about old school Disney Channel but hey ho. Oh I might add the game was old school Disney like the That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody era. It was amazing fun x
