Welcome to episode four of Creative Chats, this time with Abbey Sy!

Abbey was one of the first artists I discovered when I started my lettering phase, as I started my lettering phrase using watercolours her art was exactly what I was aiming for. I have featured her Harry Potter collaboration with Risa Rodil before here, but I haven't featured her on her own so I knew when I decided to launch this Creative Chats series that I wanted to try and get Abbey involved. And here she is; artist, illustrator, lettering artist, and author from Manila, Philippines. Constantly on the go, whether that's with her art, touring one of her new books, or simply travelling and spreading her wonderful creative knowledge. Check out what she had to say:

Creative Chats with... Alexandra Snowdon

Welcome to episode three of Creative Chats! 

Alex was actually one of the first few artists I featured over here on the little ol' blog and since then she's just kept growing and growing and I'm still loving her work and enthusiasm so much so I had to bring her in on one of these chats to learn more. I follow a lot of artists across the various social media platforms and Alex is one of the few that I can instantly recognise a piece of work and definitely has a style that she's rocking perfectly. Not only does she create beautiful prints and cards but she's also created a few gorgeous hand-painted fonts named after her close relatives. Each of them are beautiful and definitely increase my goal of creating my own one day.

Welcome to episode two of Creative Chats!

I thought this was the perfect time to introduce you all to my current inspiration. I've been pouring my eyes over so many pieces of Risa's that my current work is starting to look a bit too much like hers, oops! Trust me I'm working on changing that and pulling inspiration from some others as well. Either way that shouldn't stop you guys having a look at her work because it's bloody gorgeous! She's a self-confessed designerd and professional fangirl so Risa's work has probably popped up somewhere in your internet activities as they feature so many of my personal loves I'm sure they'd feature yours too! Now, on with the show!

Creative Chats with... Pepper Raccoon

Hello and welcome to the first part of my Creative Chats with... series, starting at home in little ol' New Zealand with the lovely Pepper of Pepper Raccoon. Illustrator, artist, designer, pin maker, patch maker, and an apparel maker, this girl does it all. She's even got her own washi tape for sale! This series is to look into the lives of creatives, see how they got there and hopefully give us some tips to achieve as much as they have, so Pepper is a great example for our first post!
