It's no secret that Avengers: Infinity War took over the world this year, but what other Marvel films are worth checking out? In my opinion, most of them but here's 5 that should be the top of your list. In no particular order...
THE ORIGINAL AVENGERS
I'm going to start with possibly my favourite Marvel movie because hello it's the start of the Avengers. I also want to say it was the first Marvel movie I remember watching properly (other than the old Spidermans because of Andrew Garfield duh) and enjoying, leading me to the world of Marvel superheroes and basically forming my love for Tony Stark's sass. Plus Loki is excellent, even as a villain.SPIDERMAN: HOMECOMING
As I mentioned above I'd watched some of the older Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and frankly, I never thought I'd like a Spiderman more than that damn good looking Andrew but Tom does an excellent job! I would totally recommend this one over the other Spiderman movies on more than just the attractiveness of the lead.THOR:RAGNAROK
I wasn't really the biggest fan of the first few Thor movies, they were okay but nothing special, so I didn't really have huge expectations of this. The only thing I knew that made my expectations a little higher was the fact that Taika Waititi directed it and I think that's what made it. This was hilarious and action-packed (the good kind of action). I wasn't the biggest fan of the villain but Valkyrie, The Hulk, and Thor were fab! Again, I can't deny any movies that have Loki in because he's great.GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
I will be the first to admit the storylines for Guardians 1 and 2 aren't amazing but everything else sure is! The main thing that gets me in this is the soundtrack - it's fabulous. If I'm having a down day or need some energetic music to keep me going on a Friday afternoon at work I'll listen to the soundtrack! Not only that but it's hilarious, I love all the main gang, especially Groot and Rocket who are both adorable and badass as possible.DEADPOOL
The first time I watched Deadpool I fell asleep. On Deadpool's behalf, it was during my first week of full-time work ever so I was super exhausted, not the fault of the movie at all. I only got around to rewatching it properly the night before I went and saw Deadpool 2 and boy was I kicking myself for not watching it before then as this was probably 1 1/2 years after the fact. It's funny, the soundtrack is excellent, and one can never say no to Ryan Reynolds even if his face is mutilated.I think the main thing all of the above have in common is the hilarity. Not all the Marvel films have the level of hilarity that these do and with all the action going on, comedy is definitely what's needed to keep me entertained and following the story. Some runners up include the latest Avengers: Infinity War (anything that has Tony Stark, Thor, and all of the Guardians in one film is perfect), and Black Panther.
